COOKING TIP: What To Do With Rock-Hard Brown Sugar
Have you ever opened up your brown sugar container to find your brown sugar as hard as cement? Have you bent spoons trying to break it apart? Have you thought of renting a jack hammer to handle this problem?
Have no fear. Your hard brown sugar problems are over. Use this one simple trick and you will be in a heaven of soft, moist brown sugar forever.
The answer is simple. Add a slice of bread to your sugar container over night and the next morning your brown sugar will be as soft as ever. How does this work? Well, the brown sugar sucks the moisture out of the bread, making the brown sugar soft.
NOTE: Make sure to discard the dried-up piece of bread.
