Mashed Potatoes Recipe: These Will Melt In Your Mouth (Step Aside Martha Stewart)

Making a creamy mashed potatoes is not that difficult.
INGREDIENTS:
3 teaspoons salt
12 potatoes
2 cups sour cream
1 1/2 sticks butter
TOOLS:
Potato peeler
Large Bowl
Large Pot
Potato ricer or masher
First thing you need to do is fill a large pot half full of water and 3 teaspoons of salt. Put it over medium- high heat and get that water boiling.
While it is coming to a boil, take 12 medium potatoes, peel them, and dice them.
Add your potatoes to the water and boil them until they are soft enough to easily pierce with a fork.
Now put them through a potato ricer (or just mash them with a potato masher).
Here is a link to a potato ricer available at Williams-Sonoma.
While the potatoes are still hot, add 1 1/2 sticks butter, and 2 cups sour cream. Mix it all together.
That wasn't so hard, was it? Top it with your favorite gravy. Eat and enjoy.
